The cottage, which is of an exceptionally high standard, has on the first floor a double bedroom with dreamy four poster bed and ensuite shower room with power shower, W.C and basin. The second bedroom has 2 beds one being 3' wide the other 2'6" in width. Both bedrooms overlook the mill pond to the front of the cottage. There is a bathroom overlooking the fields and lane to the rear with W.C., basin, bath and power shower.
Downstairs is a cloakroom with W.C and basin, a cosy living room with original Inglenook fireplace (We provide a basket of logs to make a roaring fire), radio and CD player, television with Freeview, DVD player with selection of DVDs and a selection of books. Leading through the hallway to the country cottage style kitchen you will find it is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge with a small freezer compartment, traditional decorative stove, utensils, crockery and cutlery (for 4 people) The kitchen has a stable door perfect for those lazy summer evenings watching the sun set over the pond.
At the rear of the cottage is a modern conservatory (with wooden dining table and 4 chairs) with access to the rear garden, garage and parking area (for 2 cars) The well maintained garden has an eating/seating area (patio table and 4 chairs) in a secluded spot and a bench seat at the front of the cottage with a perfect view over the pond.
In the hall there is free internet access and a small desk area, which is always well stocked with information about the local area and amenities.
Traditional, yet with a modern twist, the cottage has a lovely welcoming feel and those little ‘extra’ touches which will make your stay truly enjoyable.
